Body Armour is a mobile detailing service, which means the work happens where your car already is. We arrive with everything needed to carry out the job on site, whether that is a driveway in Wilmslow, a workplace car park in Crewe or a shared parking area in Chester.
We cover Cheshire in full. Some towns have their own page with local detail on access, services and previous work; others we serve as part of a nearby area. Use the list below to find yours.
Select your town for local service detail, or get in touch if it is not listed — we may still cover you.
Cheshire West and Chester — Chester, Ellesmere Port, Northwich, Winsford, Neston, Frodsham, Helsby, Tarporley, Malpas.
Cheshire East — Crewe, Macclesfield, Nantwich, Congleton, Wilmslow, Sandbach, Knutsford, Middlewich, Alsager, Poynton, Handforth, Holmes Chapel, Bollington.
Warrington — Warrington, Lymm, Stockton Heath, Culcheth.
Halton — Runcorn, Widnes.
Each card links to the core service page.
Mobile Detailing — a thorough, multi-stage clean and correction. Paint decontamination, machine work where needed, and protection applied afterwards. Choose this when you want the paint improved, not just cleaned.
Ceramic Coating — a durable protective layer bonded to prepared paintwork. Easier washing, better gloss retention and stronger resistance to contamination. Preparation is the majority of the work.
Mobile Valeting — regular maintenance cleaning inside and out. Faster and lower cost than detailing, designed to keep a car in good order rather than to correct it.
Pricing depends primarily on your vehicle, its condition and the service you choose, rather than where you are within our standard Cheshire coverage area. Confirm any travel arrangements when you enquire.
Cheshire covers a lot of ground, from dense terraced streets in Chester and Crewe to rural properties around Tarporley and Malpas. A mobile service has to adapt to both, and a few practical points apply wherever you are.
What we need on site. Enough room to work around the vehicle with the doors open — roughly a metre of clear space on all sides. A reasonably level surface. We will confirm water and power requirements for your service when you enquire.
Where we can work. Driveways and private parking are straightforward. Workplace car parks are usually fine with permission from the site. On-street work is possible in many areas but depends on the road, and in permit zones we will need to agree arrangements in advance. If you have no off-street parking at all, tell us when you enquire — it is a common situation and usually solvable.
Travel across the county. Confirm travel arrangements for your postcode when you enquire — we will be plain about whether travel is included or surcharged.
Timing and weather. Larger detailing and coating jobs take substantially longer on site than a valet. Coating work in particular depends on conditions, because the product needs a controlled environment to cure properly. We will confirm notice and weather policy when you book.
We come to you with everything needed to complete the service professionally where access allows.
Professional products, not retail-grade.

The main decision is whether you want your car cleaned or your paint improved.
Valeting is maintenance. It cleans the vehicle inside and out and returns it to a good, presentable condition. It does not remove swirls or scratches, and it is the right choice for regular upkeep.
Detailing is corrective. It includes a full decontamination, machine work to address defects in the paint, and protection afterwards. It takes considerably longer and costs more, and the result is paintwork that is measurably better than when we arrived, not just cleaner.
Ceramic and graphene coatings are protection, applied to properly prepared paint. A coating on uncorrected paint locks in the defects, which is why coating work almost always includes correction first.
If you are still unsure, the individual service pages go into more detail, or describe your car and what is bothering you when you enquire and we will tell you what it actually needs.
Yes. Warrington (including Lymm, Stockton Heath and Culcheth) and Halton (Runcorn and Widnes) sit in our Cheshire coverage alongside Cheshire West and Chester and Cheshire East. Tell us your postcode when you enquire and we will confirm.
Larger detailing and coating jobs occupy most of a day, so those dates go further ahead than valeting slots. Tell us what you need and we will confirm the next available appointment.
Requirements vary by service. We will confirm everything you need before your appointment so there are no surprises on the day.
Coating work in particular depends on conditions, because the product needs a controlled environment to cure properly. We would rather reschedule than compromise the result — we will be plain about that when we book.
Confirm travel for your postcode when you enquire. We will tell you straight whether travel is included or surcharged rather than leave it ambiguous.
